Mount Eaton Church
There is a place for you at Mount Eaton. There are a number of different ways to get connected or serve at our church. We offer Sunday School classes, Bible studies, support groups, and fellowship groups that create a sense of community.
Community exists so that relationships can be relevant. We need one another to grow, to be encouraged and to be accountable. Learn more about the opportunities that best fit your life - preschool, kids, students, young adults, and adult ministries.
Missions
Each of us has an important, God-given part in taking His message of love and forgiveness to everyone in our community, in our nation and in every country of the world. We share God’s love with others in a variety of ways, including ministering in area nursing homes, with local outreach and children/youth ministries, and to the needs in our community.
We support disaster relief, Teen Challenge, as well as those who take the Good News to remote areas of the world.
Our church also sponsors short-term missions trips to various countries.
Prayer
Prayer provides an essential foundation for every ministry of the church. We believe in the power of prayer to connect with God and see His work in our lives.
Mount Eaton provides an opportunity for members to pray individually or in corporate agreement, in accordance with God’s Word.
Prayer Chain: Individuals are contacted by phone or email to pray immediately about urgent matters as they arise. Call or email the church office with needs.
Pre-Service Prayer: The emphasis is to allow the Holy Spirit to bring receptiveness to each individual in order to experience life change as God’s Word is shared.
Corporate Prayer: Each time the church meets, we focus on a time of prayer. Opportunity is given to pray for individuals or needs.
Prayer Services: Each Wednesday evening, there is a prayer service/Bible Study in Faith Hall.
