Our Mission

The mission of MEA is to support and serve families in Mount Eaton Church and in local, like-minded churches through a Traditional and Classical Christian model of education, grounded in the Reformed Protestant tradition and rooted in the Holy Scriptures.

We aim to cultivate in our children a genuine love of learning, love for God, His people, and our neighbors, for the glory of Christ, for generations to come.

God says that the reverence and awe of the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. We believe that the only way we will know how to obey His command to "train up our children in the way they should go…" is to start there. As we learn about Him, we will see the world through His eyes and walk in His wisdom.

God has placed the responsibility of training up a child in the hands of their parents. Education is a critical part of that training. We see a desperate need in our community to come alongside homeschooling parents and to build upon the foundation with a true, Christ-centered education.

At Mount Eaton Academy, we're meeting that need with
staff who are spiritually mature believers, biblically sound and time-tested curricula, and a simple-to-follow, well-coordinated home-to-school approach.

It is the sincere desire of our hearts, in accordance with God's will, that our children will one day enter into His family and live as brothers and sisters both into adulthood and for all eternity.
